You can set permanent sales relationship binding in the Affiliate Marketing System. Once a customer is bound to an affiliate, placing an order by the customer will bring a commission to the affiliate. At the same time, when setting permanent sales relationship binding, you can establish special commission rules for the store based on the time of customer-affiliate relationship binding.

Setting Permanent Sales Relationship Binding
Go to SHOPLINE admin panel > Apps > Affiliate Marketing > Settings > Sales relationships
You can set the binding of sales relationships for customers as Bind after account registration.
After setting this, when a customer clicks on the affiliate's link and registers or places an order to create a new account, all subsequent orders generated will be eligible for commission calculation by the affiliate.
This binding relationship is only valid for newly generated customer accounts. If a customer has already registered or placed an order in the store before clicking the affiliate's referral link, the sales relationship won't be bound to the affiliate.
After the sales relationship is bound, all subsequent orders generated by customers in the store, regardless of whether they clicked on the affiliate's referral link, will be eligible for commission calculation by the affiliate.
After setting this customer relationship, customers who have already been bound to the affiliate won't cancel the original binding relationship when switching to other sales relationship binding methods; in other words, permanent sales relationship binding can't be canceled.
You can also view the customers who have been bound with this affiliate and their binding dates on each affiliate's details page.
Commission Setting Based on Binding Time
Go to SHOPLINE admin panel > Apps > Affiliate Marketing > Coupons & Reward > Basic commission > edit a commission group > Set commissions based on sales relation binding time section.
-
You can switch on the toggle of Set commissions based on sales relation binding time.
After you set Sales Relationship to Bind after account registration, you can set the commission allocation rule to allocate based on the relationship binding time.
Note: This commission distribution rule can only be set after establishing the Bind after account registration setting. |
- When you set this distribution relationship, the affiliate's commission will be based on the binding date of each customer's relationship with the affiliate.
- If the default group is relation binding time, it means the affiliate can receive a commission once the customer-affiliate relationship is permanently bound and can bring a commission to the affiliate.
-
You can set different commission groups, each allowing you to establish the commission rate the affiliate can earn when the time of customer-affiliate relationship binding reaches x years.
- For example: When the time of customer-affiliate relationship binding reaches two years, the affiliate can earn a commission rate of 10%.
- If Customer A's relationship with Affiliate 1 was bound on September 1, 2022, starting from September 1, 2024, every order placed by Customer A in the store can bring a 10% commission to Affiliate 1.
