Installing Smart Feed and Authorizing Assets
Authorizing your assets and connecting your store to advertising platforms enables you to amplify your brand's visibility and reach a wider audience. This guide shows you how to install Smart Feed and provides detailed instructions on how to authorize assets.
Installing Smart Feed
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, click Apps > Go to App Store to enter the SHOPLINE App Store.
- In the App Store, search for Smart Feed. Open the app details, click Install to authorize and install the app.
Authorizing Assets in Smart Feed
You need to connect your Google account and Google Merchant Center (GMC) to Smart Feed, so that you can synchronize product feeds with Google. Follow the steps below:
- Go to Smart Feed.
- From the top bar, click Settings > Media channel authorization > Google authorization.
- Click Connect Google account in the Google account section.
- Select the Google account you want to authorize.
- Click Connect to GMC in the Google Merchant Center section.
Notes: During the authorization process, make sure that you check the permissions to manage AdWords campaigns and manage product details and accounts on Google Shopping. - Authorization is successful. [screenshot]
Configuring System Settings in Smart Feed
You can also choose to provide your contact information in the settings to receive notifications.
In the top bar, click Settings > System settings to complete system settings. You can set the following:
- System time zone
- Phone number: This phone number will be used for receiving system messages.
- Email address: This email address will be used for receiving system messages.
