    How

3.2 Edit product field rules

After creating product field rules > if you want to edit rules > go to [Feed details] > click [Product field rules] to edit it> click [Save] to complete the modification.

Note: When you click the [Save] in the Product field rules section, the system will detect if you have edited the product field rules and ask if you want to override them for products for which you have previously set custom field rules.

E.g.

  • If your Feed A [US_EN_Apparel] is set to [SEO Title] in the product title field rule, then all the product titles in this feed will be uploaded with the SEO title of the product.
  • However, when Product B under Feed A is customized, and the product title field of Product B is set to [Product Title], then the product title will be the original title of the uploaded product.
  • If you have adjusted the product rules for Feed A [US_EN_Apparel], after clicking the [Save], the system will pop up a question box "You have modified the data field rules for some products, do you need to apply this modification to the data fields of these products? "
  • If you have modified the product rules for Feed A [US_EN_Apparel], click the [Save] button and an inquiry box of “Product data attributes of some products have been modified. Do you want to modify all the product with this modification?” will pop up.
    • Click [Apply to all products] represents that the new field rules will be applied to commodity B.
    • Click [Skip these products] represents that product B still follows the previous product field rules and is not affected by this modification.
