Customer Invitation

 

Customers can be invited to activate their accounts in your online store in the SHOPLINE Admin. You can send customer invitations for all unregistered customers individually, or in bulk.

1. Send customer invitations individually

Entrance: [Customers] - [Customer detail page] - [Send invitation]

Steps: 

  • In the detail page of customers who have not signed up yet, you can see the [Send Invitation] button at the top right corner.
    • Please note: If the customer has already signed up, you will not see this button on the corresponding customer detail page
  • Click on 'Send Invitation', then you can check the recipient's information and the email details in the pop-up window.
    •  Recipient information:
      • If the customer's email address information already exists, it will be automatically filled in and you will be unable to change it.
      • If the customer has not set up an email address, you can manually enter his or her email address and send the invitation email. Once you have sent the customer invitation email to an email address, the email address will be automatically saved to the customer's personal information, which can be edited later in the customer's profile.
    • Email Preview: 
      • The email content and other relevant information can be viewed in the pop-up window.
      • If you want to edit the content or add discounts for activated customer accounts, please click on [Customer activation email template] below the email preview and edit the email template in the corresponding page.
  • Once you have finished editing and updating, click 'Send'.

 

2. Send customer invitations in bulk

You can send invitation emails in bulk to all or some of your customers who have not signed up within your customer list.

Entrance: [Customers] - [Customer list page] - [Send customer invitation]

Step:

  • Click on [Send invitation], then you can select recipients and preview the email message in the pop-up window.
    • Recipients:
      • You can select [All unregistered customers] or [Selected unregistered customers].
      • Please note: When sending invitations in bulk, customers without email addresses will be excluded and you will be able to see the number of customers without email addresses.
    • Email Preview:
      • The email content and other relevant information can be viewed in the pop-up window. If you want to edit the content or add discounts for activated customer accounts, please click on [Customer activation email template] below the email preview and edit the email template in the corresponding page.
  • Once you have finished editing, click 'Send'.

 

3. Notes

  • If your SHOPLINE online store is currently in a trial period, you can only send a maximum of 1,000 customer invitation emails in bulk. If you send more than 1000 emails, you will see the message: Delivery failed, free emails have reached the maximum number.
