Custom Styles for Discount Codes - Checkout Page Settings
When you create a discount code campaign from your SHOPLINE admin panel, you can choose to display the discount code on the checkout page. Customers can see the corresponding discount code above the discount code input box on the checkout page and manually copy it for application. Displaying the discount code on the checkout page can encourage customers to complete their purchases and ultimately increase sales.
Setting Path
Go to Discounts and click on Other actions > Custom styles for discounts, or go to Design Maker for Campaigns in Apps, select the campaign for which you want to set a style, click the Checkout page tab, and then enable Display coupon.
Points for Attention
- After you display a discount code on the checkout page, customers will see the coupon during checkout. Customers can click COPY to the right of the coupon, copy the discount code, and then paste it into the discount code input box.
- All coupons for which the Display coupon toggle is turned on are displayed on the checkout page regardless of whether the customer’s current order qualifies for the discount.
- If a customer has already applied a discount code during checkout, the customer may not be able to stack additional discount codes on top of the existing one. In this case, the customer needs to delete the previously applied discount code then apply the newly copied discount code.
Checkout Page Display Styles
- If only one discount code is displayed on your checkout page, it is displayed above the discount code input box. Customers can easily copy the discount code by clicking COPY and paste it into the discount code input box.
- If multiple discount codes are displayed on your checkout page, one of them is displayed above the discount code input box. Customers can click More to the right of the discount code to display all available discount codes. They can then select the discount code that they want to apply to the transaction and click COPY to copy the selected code.
