Banner Display Rules
The number of automatic discount banners you might see on a product detail page depends on the settings you've chosen:
- Product Shows Multiple Activities Not Enabled:
- Only one automatic discount banner will be displayed for each product.
- The banner displayed will be the one with the highest priority for that product (specific variants > specific products > specific product categories > all products).
- If you allow free shipping discounts to stack with others, then at most two banners will appear: one free shipping discount and one other type of discount.
- Product shows multiple activities Enabled:
-
Up to 5 automatic discount banners can be displayed per product.
-
The displayed banners will be based on the priority of the activities the product participates in (specific variants > specific products > specific product categories > all products). The five displayed banners will be shown in order of priority.
-
If you allow free shipping discounts to stack with others, then at most six banners will appear: one free shipping discount and five other types of discount banners.
-
If a specific discount uses the Bulk purchase button template and has the highest priority, only the button will be shown. No other banners will appear. (Bulk purchase buttons and automatic discount banners cannot be displayed together.)
-
Tile display for stackable campaigns Enabled:
If you've enabled Tile display for stackable campaigns and there are multiple discount tiers, the information will be displayed in a tiled format on the product detail page.

How customers see automatic discount information depends on your settings:
-
Display customer's activity information Not Enabled:
- Customers won't see detailed information about automatic discounts on the checkout page.
- They might see general discount information next to the product or subtotal, but details for individual discounts won't be shown.
-
Display Customer's Activity Information Enabled:
- Customers will see a breakdown of automatic discounts applied to their order on the checkout pages.
- The total discounted amount will be displayed below the overall order total.
- By hovering their mouse over the down arrow next to this total discounted amount, they can see details for each discount:
- Name of the automatic discount activity
- Corresponding discount amount applied
Note: If you use other apps like subscriptions simultaneously, the location of automatic discount information might change on the checkout page. For example, subscription discounts might appear first, followed by automatic discount details. |
