Flash Sales Analytics - Overview dashboard

The overview dashboard displays the sales brought by the campaign, the number of orders brought by the campaign, the discount amount of the campaign, etc. Here you can view the type of campaign, the performance and order data brought by a single campaign to your store.

Flash sales overview

1. Steps: In the SHOPLINE admin, go to "Apps" page. Select "Flash Sales" app, today's data for flash sales campaigns are displayed above the campaign list

2. Note: Data for Flash Sales apps is updated hourly, so the data may be partially delayed

3. You can view today's sales, orders, discount amount of flash sales campaigns, and ROI brought by flash sales campaigns in the store here; when your campaign sales and campaign order are not 0, you can view the ratio of campaign sales to store sales, and the ratio of campaign orders to store orders.

1. Steps: In the SHOPLINE admin, go to "Apps" page. Select "Flash Sales" app. Click any data index above the campaign list, and you will enter the flash sales data overview page.
2. On the flash sales overview dashboard, you can view the total data of flash sales campaigns over a period of time, the line chart of sales & orders, and the details of each campaign that has generated sales during this period

 

Date range selection

At the top of the page, you can click the time selector to select the time range of the data you want to view

 

Index explanation

The following indexs are displayed at the top of the overview dashboard, through which you can view the total data of flash sales campaigns

Index Display for a date range
Sales

The total order amount that participated in the flash sale campaign in the successfully orders. When an order is refunded, sales will change accordingly.

Proportion of sales

The proportion of flash sale campaign sales to store sales is calculated by "flash sale sales/store sales";

Store sales refer to the sales generated by your store in SHOPLINE. If you import orders to SHOPLINE, the sales of imported orders will not be counted.

Orders The total orders that participated in the flash sale campaign in the successfully orders.
Proportion of orders

The proportion of flash sale orders to store orders is calculated by "flash sale orders/store orders";

Store orders refer to the orders generated by your store in SHOPLINE. If you import orders to SHOPLINE, the orders of imported orders will not be counted.

Discount amount The total discount amount of the flash sale campaigns in successful order.
ROI ROI = Flash sale sales/Flash sale discount amount
Average order value Average order value = Flash sale sales/Flash sale orders
Unit per transaction Unit per transaction = No. of items within flash sale orders/Flash sale orders

 

Sales data chart

Below the general indicators of the overview dashboard, you can view the line chart of the sales data of the flash sales campaigns, and view the changes in the sales data of the flash sales through the line chart. The two broken lines in the figure are the flash sale sales and the flash sales orders, which can be distinguished by the legend.

 

Campaign data

On the overview dashboard, you can view the details of campaigns that generated sales within the time range you selected. 
  • Campaign name: Campaign name for corresponding campaign, the title you configure when created this campaign
  • Sales: In the successful orders, the total order amount that participated in the campaign
  • Orders: In the successful orders, the total orders that participated in the campaign
  • Discount amount: In the successful orders, the total discount amount of this campaign
  • ROI: Sales/Discount amount
  • Average order value: Sales/Orders
  • Unit per transaction: No. of items within campaign orders/Orders

Search campaign name

You can search a specific campaign and view its data by searching for the campaign name above the campaign data list.

Export data

You can also export campaign data as a local file, steps:
  • At Campaign Data, click "Export Data" and do one of the following:
    • If you want to export all campaign data that can be seen at the current campaign data table, select all campaigns and click Export
    • If you only want to export part of the campaign data, before exporting, select those campaigns by ticking the check box in front of the campaign content first, and then select the "selected activities", and click Export
