Sales Relationships

Once the sales relationship is established, the commission fees will be attributed in the following order: Applied affiliate code on purchase > Clicked referral link and purchased > Connected sales relationships.

If you select Bind after account registration under Sales relationships binding rules, customers and distributors will be permanently linked. Only customers who are associated with a specific distributor will generate commission fees for that distributor.

Steps:

  1. Go to Affiliate Marketing System > Settings, and select the Sales relationships module.
  2. Under Sales relationships binding rules, select a sales relationship you want to set.
    • Don’t bind: Customers who place orders using a distributor link or discount code will not be linked to that specific distributor.
    • Bind after purchase: Orders placed by customers within a specific period using a distributor link or discount code will be attributed to that distributor.
      • You can determine the duration of the sales relationship by setting the Protection period field, with a maximum limit of 30 days.
      • If you choose this method, once the customer relationship is established, the distributor linked to the customer will receive a commission fee if the customer places another order within a specific period and that order is not placed through another distributor link or discount code.
    • Bind after accessing referral link: Orders placed by customers within a specific period using a distributor link will be attributed to that distributor.
    • Bind after account registration: Customers who create a new account by registering or placing an order after clicking a distributor link will be bound to that distributor. Consequently, the distributor will receive commission fees for all subsequent orders placed by the customer.
      • If you choose this method, the bound sales relationship will take precedence over other attribution methods. Only customers specifically linked to the distributor can generate commission fees for that distributor.
      • Customers who have previously registered or placed orders within the store before clicking a distributor link will not be linked to that distributor.
Notes:
  • Referral orders are attributed in the following descending order of priority:
    • Permanent sales relationship between the customer and distributor (highest priority, applicable only when Bind after account registration is selected).
    • Code entered into the order by the customer.
    • Distributor links clicked by customers for order placement.
    • Existing sales relationship of the customer (when Bind after account registration is not selected).
  • In the case of multiple distributor details within the same order, the order's attribution follows the outlined priority.
  • For orders featuring multiple distributor discount codes, the referral order is assigned to the distributor linked to the initial discount code in the order.
  • By default, the system is set for one-time settlement without bound customer relationships, but you can adjust this setting as needed.
  • The default validity period for bound sales relationships is 30 days when calculating commission fees for orders within a specific period. This duration can be customized, with a maximum limit of 30 days.
