Sales relationship

You can set the sales relationship binding time between customers and affiliates by setting the sales relationship binding method;

After the sales relationship is set up, the attribution method of the commission is: the customer purchases using the affiliate discount code > the customer clicks the affiliate link to purchase > the bound customer sales relationship;

If the sales relationship you set is bound after registering a new account, then the customer and the affiliate will be permanently bound, and only customers who have a binding relationship with the affiliate will bring commissions to the affiliate;

Steps:

1. In the affiliate marketing system, click Settings and select the sales relationship module

2. In the Sales Relationship Binding Rules section, select the sales relationship you want to set up

  • No binding: That is, after the customer places an order through the affiliate's link/discount code, there will be no sales relationship binding with the affiliate
  • Bind after consumption: After the consumer places an order through the affiliate's link/discount code, the order generated within a certain period of time will belong to the affiliate
    • You can set the relationship binding time by yourself, up to 30 days
    • If you set this method, after the customer relationship is bound, if the customer places another order within a certain period of time, and the referral order is not generated through the discount code or link of other affiliates, the affiliate who has the binding relationship with the customer will get commission
  • Bind after accessing the link: After the consumer clicks on the link of the affiliate, the order commission generated within a certain period of time belongs to the affiliate
    • You can set the relationship binding time by yourself, up to 30 days
    • If you set this method, after the customer relationship is bound, if the customer places another order within a certain period of time, and the referral order is not generated through the discount code or link of other affiliates, the affiliate who has the binding relationship with the customer will get commission
  • Bind after account registration: After the consumer clicks on the link of the affiliate, a new account is generated by registering/ordering, and the affiliate can calculate the commission for all subsequent orders
    • If you set this method, sales relationship binding will take precedence over other order attribution methods; only customers bound to affiliates can bring commissions to affiliates
    • Customers who have registered/placed an order in the store before clicking on the affiliate link will not have a binding relationship with the affiliate

 

Considerations: 

  • The current referral order attribution priority from high to low is:
    • The sales relationship between consumers and affiliates is permanently bound (only when "register new account binding" is set, the sales relationship is the highest priority)
    • Customer enters the code in the order
    • Consumers visit the affiliate link and place an order
    • The consumer has a bound sales relationship (when the sales relationship is not set to "register a new account binding")
  • If there are multiple affiliates' information for the same order, identify which affiliate the order belongs to according to the above priorities;
  • If there are multiple affiliate discount codes for the same order, the referral order will belong to the affiliate corresponding to the first affiliate discount code in the order;
  • The default setting is single settlement and no customer relationship binding, you can modify this setting;
  • When you choose to calculate commissions for orders generated within a certain period of time, the default valid period of the binding sales relationship is 30 days, and you can customize and modify this period, the longest valid period is 30 days.
  • The sales relationship is currently implemented through cookies. When consumers use private browsing, clear cookies, etc., they may not be accurately tracked.
