Product Upsells & Bundles: Promoting Bundles with Product Bundle Pop-up Window

The Product Bundle Pop-up Window feature, offered by the Product Upsells & Bundles app, is designed to promote specific product bundles through a pop-up window. When customers try to add any product within the bundle to their cart on the product detail page, a recommended combination will appear in the pop-up window, encouraging them to purchase the entire bundle.

Follow this comprehensive guide to set up a pop-up window that prompts customers to discover related products they might love, potentially increasing the value of their orders and creating a more engaging shopping experience.

Creating a Bundle Pop-up Window

To create a promotional pop-up window for a specific product bundle, follow these steps: 

1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps > Product Upsells & Bundles. Install the app if you haven’t already.
2. On the Product bundles page, find the "Product bundle pop-up window" module and click Create a pop-up window.
3. On the "Product bundle pop-up window" page, click Create. 
4. Customize the pop-up window step-by-step to align with your promotion strategies.

4.1 Provide an appealing Pop-up window title and an enticing Pop-up window button text. To preview how the texts are displayed to customers, click Show display example.

4.2 Click Select product bundle to choose which bundle you want to set the pop-up window for. A pop-up window can only be used to promote one product bundle.

4.3 Configure the Display settings:

• • • Display frequency: Choose whether to display the promotional window every time the customer clicks "Add to Cart" or to display it only once.
    • Display page: Decide whether to display the pop-up on each bundled product's detail page or only on the main product page.

5. Toggle on the Enabled switch to activate the pop-up window, then click Create.

Viewing the Bundle Pop-up Window List  

All created bundle pop-up windows are accessible via the "Product bundle pop-up window" page. Follow the instructions below to view and manage the pop-up windows.

1. In the "Product Upsells & Bundles" app, go to the Product bundles tab, find the "Product bundle pop-up window" module, and click Create pop-up bundle.
2. On the "Product bundle pop-up window" page, you can switch among three tabs: All, Enabled, and Disabled pop-up windows. The window list below provides a quick overview of essential information for each pop-up window: 

• • Product bundle pop-up window: Displays the title of the bundle pop-up window and the thumbnails of the products included in the bundle.
  • Status: Indicates whether the bundle pop-up window is enabled or disabled.
  • Views: Shows the number of times the bundle pop-up window is viewed by customers.
  • Clicks: Displays the number of times the purchase button in the bundle pop-up window is clicked by customers.
  • Views to clicks: Indicates the conversion rate of this promotional pop-up window.
  • Action: Features a preview icon through which you can view how the pop-up window is displayed on the main product’s detail page by clicking the Add to cart button.

Managing Bundle Pop-up Windows

To ensure your sales strategies are optimized, make necessary adjustments to your bundles and promotional pop-ups. Follow the instructions below to update, disable, or delete pop-up windows as required.

Updating Bundle Pop-up Windows

1. In the "Product Upsells & Bundles" app, go to the Product bundles tab, locate the "Product bundle pop-up window" module,  and click Create pop-up bundle.
2. Click on the pop-up window you want to update to access its editing page.
3. Modify the pop-up window’s settings to match your preferences, then click Update. The changes will be immediately reflected on the product page.

Disabling Bundles (Temporarily Hide)

1. In the "Product Upsells & Bundles" app, go to the Product bundles tab, locate the "Product bundle pop-up window" module,  and click Create pop-up bundle.
2. Check the pop-up window you want to disable and click Disable. You can select multiple pop-up windows at once.
   
   Alternatively, access the editing page of the selected pop-up window and toggle off the Enabled switch to disable it.

Deleting Bundles (Permanent Removal)

1. In the "Product Upsells & Bundles" app, go to the Product bundles tab, locate the "Product bundle pop-up window" module,  and click Create pop-up bundle.
2. Check the pop-up window you want to delete and click Delete. You can select multiple pop-up windows at once. 

Additional Notes for Bundle Pop-up Windows

• Add-on Items Campaign: If you simultaneously establish an add-on items campaign, it will take priority over the pop-up window promotion and appear on the product detail page.
• Bundle Pop-Up Visibility: Only currently enabled manual bundles will activate their corresponding pop-up window recommendations. Pop-up windows for disabled bundles will remain concealed.
• Priority of Bundle Pop-ups: If you set up pop-up windows for multiple manual bundles on a single product page, the most recently updated bundle will appear when customers click "Add to Cart" on the product detail page, consistent with the initially displayed bundle.
• Redirect Page Consistency: The page to which customers are redirected after clicking the "Add to Cart" button in the pop-up window will align with the settings in the corresponding manual bundle campaign.
• Pop-up Window Frequency Settings: While creating a bundle pop-up window, you can specify the frequency and page for displaying the pop-up window.
