Before creating a free gift campaign, you need to add products in your store to the Gift Offer app as free gifts. You need to select free gifts before creating a free gift campaign.
After selecting free gifts in the app, you can manage them on the free gifts management page of the app, including adjusting the free gift inventory, adding/deleting free gifts, and viewing the details of each free gift.

Things to Note When Selecting Free Gifts
Before selecting a product as a free gift, please go through the following:
- You don't need to manually set the selling price of free gifts to zero. The system will automatically adjust the price to zero when it detects that the conditions for a free gift campaign are met.
- You can select multiple products in your store as free gifts. Products in your store can be available in multiple variants, but you can only select up to 50 variants for each free gift. When there are already 50 variants under a free gift, you can’t add more variants as free gifts.
- The sales channel for free gifts selected by you must include the online store, otherwise customers won’t be able to view and select the corresponding free gifts in your store.
- You can set the Available quantities in the Gift management page to limit the maximum quantity of free gifts available for the campaign. Modifications made here won’t affect the product inventory on the product management page.
- If you delete the product corresponding to a free gift, the free gift will become invalid, and you will see an exception prompt on the free gifts management page and the campaign settings page.
- If the product corresponding to a free gift is deactivated/out of stock/deleted, the free gift will become invalid, and you can’t add free gifts in exception status to new campaigns.
Adding or Removing Free Gifts
Refer to the following procedures to add a free gift:
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps and search for the Gift Offer app.
- On the Gift management page, click Select gift products.
- In the pop-up window, check the products you wish to use as free gifts and click Select.
- The products selected by you will be displayed on the free gifts management page. Click on any data line to open the details page where you can view the information about this free gift and all variants under the free gift.
- You can check the available quantity of free gifts and the quantity distributed in the free gifts management list.
Refer to the following procedures to remove a free gift:
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps and open Gift Offer app.
- On the Gift management page, select the free gift you wish to remove.
- If you wish to remove all variants under this free gift, check the box in front of the corresponding free gift on the Gift management page and click Delete.
- If you wish to remove some variants under this free gift only, click the corresponding free gift and enter variant list, check the box in front of the variants you wish to remove and click Delete.
Configuring the Available Quantity of Free Gifts
You can set Available quantities for each free gift on the free gifts management page. The settings here won’t affect your product inventory. It simply adds a limit to the quantity of free gifts available.
Refer to the following procedures:
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps and open Gift Offer app.
- On the Gift management page, select the free gift you wish to modify/set.
- For an individual item, proceed as the following:
- If your free gift is available in multiple variants, you can click the pencil icon to the right of any variant to set the available quantity under the Edit available quantity or check Unlimited.
- If your free gift doesn’t have variants, you can click the corresponding product, click the pencil icon to the right of the free gift to set the available quantity by setting Modify to specific quantity, Adjust based on the original quantity, or Unlimited. Then click Apply.
- If your free gift is available in multiple variants, you can batch operate as the following: Click Edit available quantity to modify the available quantities for multiple variants at the same time. You can set the available quantity by clicking Modify to specific quantity, Adjust based on the original quantity, or Unlimited.
Viewing Free Gifts Distribution Records
You can view the distribution record of each free gift, which includes information on orders containing this free gift.
Refer to the following procedures:
- On the Gift management page, select the free gift you wish to check.
- Click the View records icon to the right of any variant or free gift.
- In the Order No. column, you can see the order ID that contains this free gift variant.
- In the Order date column, you can see the time when this order was placed.
- In the Order amount column, you can see the amount of this order. The order amount shown here is the same as the total amount in the order details.
- In the Quantity of gifts column, you can see the quantity of free gifts included in this order. This quantity is the quantity of the free gift variant you are viewing.
- In the Status column, you can see the current status of the order.
