FAQ
Can the same Stripe account (not the email-registered stripe channel) be bound to multiple platforms?
The stripe channel limits one stripe account (not the email-registered stripe account) to bind with one platform at a time. If you need to bind with multiple platforms, please create a new account to bind.
Can stores migrated from other platforms use accounts bonded to other platforms to bind?
The stripe channel limited one stripe account (not the email registered stripe account) to bind with one platform at a time. If you need to bind with multiple platforms, please create a new account to bind.
My Stripe payment method was successfully set up, how come the payment transaction failed?
There are several conditions to meet for a channel to operate smoothly. If you have encountered issues with Stripe payments, please see the following steps to check:
- Check whether the stripe account bound to the store is set up correctly. Stripe requires that the same stripe account can only be bound to one store and one platform.
- Check to see if the PCI for Stripe is enabled. See here for details.
How can I enable/disable the Stripe payment method on my store?
You can customise your payment options on SHOPLINE by going to your SHOPLINE dashboard, [Settings] > [Payments] > Enable or disable Stripe under [Third-party service providers].
