Member System supports bulk import and export of member data. The bulk import feature facilitates the transfer of member profiles from other platforms to SHOPLINE. It allows you to update membership levels, add membership points, and store credits in bulk. The bulk export feature makes it easy for you to export SHOPLINE member data, enabling more refined customer relationship management.

Importing Customers
The import feature supports the bulk import of member profiles from other platforms into SHOPLINE. This feature allows for the mass addition of membership points and store credits to the member accounts.
Please refer to the below setup steps:
- From the left navigation bar, go to Customers and click Import at the top.
- In the pop-up dialog, click Batch import template to download the import template.

After downloading the import template, you will receive an Excel file named member-bulk-edit-template. Please fill out the sheet as required.
Header Requirements Email - Fill in the customer's email address.
- Make sure that the provided email address matches the one recorded in the customer's profile.
- Make sure that the customer is already registered in the SHOPLINE customer database before you can import the customer into Member System.
Phone - Fill in the customer's phone number.
- Make sure that the provided phone number matches the phone number recorded in the customer's profile.
- Make sure that the customer is already registered in the SHOPLINE customer database before you can import the customer into Member System.
Points - Fill in the number of points to assign to the customer.
- After you fill in the number of points, also fill in the validity period in days in the Points Expiration Date column.
Points Expiration Date - Fill in the points expiration date.
- Use the following format: YYYY-MM-DD.
VIP Tier Name - To modify the VIP tier, fill in the new name of the VIP tier.
- Make sure that the provided name matches the VIP tier name you set for your store.
- After you fill in the VIP tier name, fill in the validity period in days in the Tier Expiration Date column.
Tier Expiration Date - Fill in the expiration date of the VIP tier.
- Use the following format: YYYY-MM-DD.
Store Credits - Fill in the amount of store credits to issue to the customer.
- After you fill in the amount of store credits, fill in the validity period in days in the Store Credits Expiration Date column.
Store Credits Expiration Date - Fill in the expiration date of store credits.
- Use the following format: YYYY-MM-DD.
Notes: - Fill in at least one of the Email and Phone fields.
- Fill in at least one of the Points, Vip Tier Name, and Store Credits fields.
- In the pop-up dialog, upload the edited import template.

- Upload the file that contains the updated customer information, or drag and drop the file onto the designated upload area.
- If you want the customer's points and store credits to be updated to the exact numbers specified in the uploaded file, select the Whether to cover customer points and credits checkbox.
- If you want the imported values to be added to the existing points and store credits, clear the Whether to cover customer points and credits checkbox.
- Click Upload and import.
- View the import progress.
You can click Bulk processing progress in the pop-up that appears in the upper-right corner. You can also click the store name in the upper-right corner and then select Bulk processing progress.
On the Bulk processing progress page, you can view the import status. If the import failed, you can click Failure history to view the reason for import failure.
Exporting Customers
The export feature supports bulk export of SHOPLINE member data for more refined customer relationship management.
- Click Export at the top.
- In the pop-up dialog, select the scope of members to export.

- To export all customers, choose All customers.
- To export customers that meet your filtered criteria, first apply filters such as tags or status on the customer list. Then, in the pop-up, choose Customers eligible fo filtering.

To export specific customers, go to the customer list, select the desired customers by checking the checkbox next to their names. Then, in the pop-up, choose Selected customers in the pop-up window.
Note: It is recommended that you export more than 1,000 customer records by selecting All customers.
- Customize export fields.
The default export fields are First Name, Last name, Email, Birthday, and Points balance.
If you have specific custom fields that you want to include in the export file, you can select them from the provided options.
After you select the desired fields, click Export. The system will generate an Excel file containing the selected fields.
- View the export progress and download the export file.
You can click Bulk processing progress in the pop-up that appears in the upper-right corner.You can also click the store name in the upper-right corner and then select Bulk processing progress.
On the Bulk processing progress page, you can view the export status. After the export is complete, click All records to download the export file.
