Changing Your Account and Password

 

Maintaining access to your SHOPLINE account is essential for running your online business smoothly. But what if you forget your password, don’t receive the verification code, suspect a security breach, or need to change your email or phone number? This article will guide you through resolving these common issues and keeping your SHOPLINE account secure.

Recovering A Forgotten Password

Losing your password can be frustrating, but you can recover it easily by following these steps:

  1. Go to the SHOPLINE login page and click Forgot password.

  2. Enter the email address or phone number linked to your SHOPLINE account and click Send in the Verification code field. A verification code will be sent to your account.

  3. Check your inbox or phone for the code and enter it on the verification field. Then, click the Verification button.

  4. On the password-resetting page, create a strong new password for your account and enter it twice. Then, click OK to complete the reset.

After a successful reset, log in using your new password!

 


 

Updating Your Password

Regularly resetting your password is a wise security practice. Even if you haven't forgotten it, consider following these steps for added protection:

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, click your profile picture in the top right corner and select Account management.

  2. Locate the Login account section and click Reset password.

  3. Click Send in the Verification code field to send a verification code to your account.

  4. Check your inbox or phone for the code and enter it in the verification field. Then, click the Verification button.

  5. On the password-resetting page, create a strong new password for your account and enter it twice. Then, click OK to complete the reset.

After a successful reset, log in using your new password!

 


 

Changing Your Login Account

Need to update your email address or phone number used for logging in? Follow the steps below:

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, click your profile picture in the top right corner and select Account management.

  2. Locate the Login account section and click Change login account.

  3. A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to complete a three-step procedure to reset your account:
    • Step 1: Click Send verification code to send a code to your current account. Check your inbox or phone for the code and enter it in the verification field, then click Next.

    • Step 2: Enter your new account and click Send verification code. Check your new inbox or phone for the code and enter it in the verification field, then click Confirm.

    • Step 3: Click Got it to confirm the completion of verification. Your login account should now be successfully changed.

After successfully resetting, log in with your new account!

Note: The new account must be an email address/mobile phone number not registered with SHOPLINE.

 


 

Not Receiving Verification Codes

When creating an account or changing your password, a verification code will be sent to ensure your account security. If you haven't received the code after requesting it, follow these steps:

  1. Check Your Spam/Junk Folders: Sometimes, email and SMS service providers might mistakenly categorize verification emails or messages as spam. Check your spam/junk folders to see if the code has been filtered.
  2. Verify Your Contact Information: Ensure the email address or phone number you provided during registration is accurate. Any typos or errors will prevent you from receiving the verification code.
  3. Check Your Internet Connection or Phone Signal: Make sure your device has a stable internet connection or strong phone signal. Unstable connections or weak signals may cause delays in sending or receiving the verification code.
  4. Resend the Verification Code: If you've tried the above steps and still haven't received the code, click Resend to send it again.
  5. Contact Customer Support: If none of the solutions above work, please contact our customer support team. They'll be happy to assist you further.
