Enabling Password Protection
Enabling password protection allows you to temporarily block visitors from accessing your store. Once activated, customers will need a password to view your products or place orders. This gives you the chance to improve your store's design and shopping experience without interruptions before reopening.
For detailed instructions, please refer to our "Password Protection" guide.
Changing Store Status to "Closed"
If you plan to close your store for an extended period, you can change your store status to "Closed." Doing so will display a notice informing visitors that your store is temporarily unavailable. While your store is closed, you can still access your admin panel to edit products or update your store's design. However, customers won't be able to browse your store or make purchases.
To change your store status:
-
From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Settings > Basic Settings.
-
In the Store status section, change your store status from Open to Closed.
-
Click Update to save your settings.
