Customize Payment Collection
If your preferred collection service provider is not integrated with SHOPLINE POS, you can still process collections by customizing payment collection.
When applying to customize payment, it is only marked as payment received in SHOPLINE POS and offline collection is required. After selecting the customized payment method at the cashier, you need to manually enter the payment amount into the card terminal and initiate the collection processing offline. After the payment is completed, you need to confirm in SHOPLINE POS that the payment has been accepted to complete the transaction.
| Note: You can create more than one payment button for each payment type, for example, Credit card - Visa, Credit card - AMEX, Credit card - Mastercard. |
Customizing Payment Collection
Creating a Customized Collection Method
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to POS > Settings > Payments.
- Select the store that you want to set up and click on Modify Payment Plan.
- Click Add a custom payment method in the Customized payment section and choose Create a custom payment method.
- Fill in the name, brand logo, and introduction of a customized collection method, and then click Activate. The brand logo will be displayed at your cashier to let you quickly identify the payment method.
| Note: Once the customized collection method is activated, information such as the name, brand logo, and introduction cannot be modified. |
Deactivating Customized Payment Method
To deactivate a customized payment method, you can find the method in Customized payment, click Deactivate, and click Confirm deactivation.
After deactivating, this method will be hidden from the POS cashier interface.
Enabling a Customized Payment Method
To enable a deactivated customized payment method during operation, you can click Add a custom payment method at Customized payment, find and click the deactivated method to reactivate it.
Applying Customized Payment
When checking an order, you can click the customized payment method if added to a store. After payment is made, click on Complete to complete.
