Guide to Order Cancel Helper
After installing Order Cancel Helper, customers opting for cash on delivery (COD) can manually cancel their orders in the store. This can not only reduce the workload of your customer service staff but also minimize order rejection or non-payment due to untimely cancellations, along with associated loss in shipping fees.
This article will demonstrate how to enable and manage order cancellation, and how to display this function clearly to customers.
Enabling Order Cancellation
Once you have installed the app, you can follow these steps to enable order cancellation:
- Go to Order cancellation settings and turn on the toggle.
- Select the page to display the button and customize the wordings on the button.
- Preview the Order details and Thank you pages and confirm your preferences.
Note: Once an order has been shipped, customers cannot cancel it. Cancellation is only supported for COD orders at this stage. |
Managing Canceled Orders
After a customer cancels an order, they can view it in the Cancellation list. This list only displays orders that were canceled by customers using the app. Orders canceled by merchants in the Admin panel will not be shown on this list.
Displaying the Cancel Order Button of Stores on the Customer Side
After completing the setup and enabling the order cancellation, customers can cancel their orders on the Thank You page and in User Center > Order details.
