To help you quickly create products with similar attributes, types, and content for your store, SHOPLINE offers a product copying function so that you can quickly create new products by copying an existing product.

Copying a Product on the Product Editing Page

Follow the steps below:

1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, click Products, select the product to be copied, and open the product editing page.
   
2. On the product editing page, click Copy at the upper right, and a pop-up window for product copying settings appears.
   
3. Configure the following content to copy the product:
   • Product name: The default name is the original product name with “Copy” as a prefix.
   • Copy product image: If this option is checked, the main product images, specification images, and variant images of the original product will be copied to the newly created product.
   • Copy product inventory: If this option is checked, the inventory value by a variant of the original product at each location will be copied to the newly created product.
   • Product status: Define the status of the copied product, be it on-shelf or off-shelf.
4. After completing the configuration, click Next. Now you have successfully created a new product by copying an existing product.

Copying a Product on the Product List Page

Follow the steps below:

1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, click Products to enter the product list page. Click the copy icon to the right of the product to copy the product. After clicking, a pop-up window for product copying settings appears. The setting items are the same as those in “Copying a Product on the Product Editing Page”.
   
2. After completing the configuration, click Next to open the details page of the copied product. Confirm the relevant information, and click Create at the bottom of the page to create a new product.
