Wishlist: Analyzing Customer Wishlist Data and Insights
The Wishlist app provides wishlist usage analytics, helping you understand the information of products added to customers’ wishlist and their impact on conversions.
The "Overview" Page
On this page, you can view the overall performance of the Add to wishlist feature over a specific period.
- Go to the Wishlist app > Overview.
- Data provided:
- The system displays data generated in the last seven days by default, but you can manually adjust the time range.
- The page displays metrics including new users, orders, total sales, average transaction value, users, conversion rate, order ratio, and sales ratio.
- You can view the trend of wishlist usage data over time through a line chart. The line chart displays the number of new users by default. Click on any of the four metrics in the top row (New users, Orders, Total sales, and Average transaction value) to switch the display.
- At the bottom of page, you can view the data on bestsellers and bestselling variants out of those which have been added to wishlists, and understand the details like which customers added which products to their wishlist.
| Note: The Enable Wishlist button in the upper right corner controls whether the Wishlist button is displayed on the storefront. It is enabled by default. You can also disable it, and the Wishlist button won’t be shown on your online store. |
The "Collection Details" Page
On this page, you can view detailed data on products that customers have collected using the Add to wishlist feature within a specific period.
- Go to the Wishlist app > Collection details.
- Data provided:
- The system displays data generated in the last 30 days by default, but you can manually adjust the time range.
- You can see the products that have been added to wishlists, the information of customers who added the product to their wishlist, and the date of collection.
The "Bestsellers" Page
On this page, you can view information about the most frequently collected items by customers following the use of the wishlist feature, allowing you to understand which products are popular among customers.
- Go to the Wishlist app > Bestsellers.
- Data provided:
- The system displays accumulated data following the installation of the Wishlist app.
- You can view bestsellers and popular variants that have been added to the wishlist (the Bestsellers tab and the Bestselling variants tab). You can also see the ranking of items by the number of people who have collected it, the number of customers who have collected that item, and the current availability status of the item.
