Automate Weekly Sales Volume Reports with Flow Automation

With the Flow Automation app, you can set up an automated workflow to send you a "Product Sales Volume Report" email every week at a specific time. This workflow will collect data over time, providing you with valuable insights into your sales performance.

Follow this guide to learn how to configure the workflow for sending scheduled sales volume data reports weekly. 

Set Up Your Automated Workflow

To set up an automatic flow for sending weekly sales volume reports regularly at a specific time, follow these steps below: 

1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps > Flow Automation. Install the app if you haven’t already.
   
2. In the My flow section, click Create customize flow.
   
3. Set Up the Trigger:

3.1 Choose Scheduled time for the trigger and click Confirm.

3.2 Select your preferred First trigger time (e.g., 8:00 AM on a Monday) and click Ok.

3.3 Decide whether to Repeat or not. For a weekly report, choose to repeat weekly.

3.4 For continuous report delivery, you can set the End time to Never end. Alternatively, select until the specified date to specify the end time.

4. Add the Send counter report Action:

4.1 In the lower right corner of the Start when flow module, click the + icon and select Add action.

4.2 Choose Send counter report from the action list and click Confirm.

4.3 Enter a clear and descriptive name for the report (e.g. Weekly Sales Report).

4.4 Select the counter information to be included in the report. For instance, for a sales volume report, filter the counter name to include "product sales volume."

4.5 Define the maximum number of counters to include in the report (up to 50).

4.6 Specify the email address where you want to receive the report.

5. Once configured, click Start Workflow to run the flow.
   

Then at the specified time, you’ll receive a data report generated by the counter in your email.
