Sending "Orders by Region in the Previous Month" to Mail at the Beginning of Each Month

This article describes how to configure the Flow process of sending the sales data report of the previous month by region at the beginning of each month.

Scope

At 0:00 AM on the 1st day of each month, Flow will send the "orders in the previous month by region" to your designated email.

Prerequisite

You need to configure "the order counter by month and region" first and run it for a period before you can obtain valid data.

Flow Configuration

This section provides an overview of the configured flow. Once configured, the flow runs at 0:00 AM at the beginning of each month and sends the store's order sales data by region in the previous week to the mail.

You can perform the following steps to configure Flow:

1. Click Create a customize flow.
   
2. Select Scheduled time for the trigger and follow these steps:
   • Set the first trigger time to 0:00 AM on the 1st day of the month.
   • Set the Trigger repeatedly to Repeat monthly.
   • If you want Flow to send scheduled notifications per month, set End triggering repeatedly to Never end.
   • Once configured, Flow automatically runs at 0:00 AM on the 1st day of each month starting from Jun 1, 2024.
     

4. Add the action Send counter report and perform the following:
   • Name the report something easy to understand.
   • Select which counter information to include in the report. Filter the counter name: select orders by region in May. To use this keyword, each counter name must contain orders by region in May when you set the order counter for each region. If you have used other keywords, enter them according to your actual situation.
   • After setting the filter condition, set Counters retained after filtering to 50 for reporting.
   • Enter the email address you wish to receive this data report.
     
5. Once it's configured, you can just run the flow.

Then at the specified time, you will receive a data report generated by the counter in your inbox.
