Park/Retrieve Sale
You can park in-progress transactions to put them on hold when the customer decides to add products or is not ready to pay due to other reasons so that you can serve another customer. You can retrieve the parked transaction to continue working on the original transaction when the customer is ready to make the payment.
Parking Sales
You can park an in-progress transaction (products, customer, etc) to keep the products that were included in the sale until the customer is ready to make the payment. When a transaction is parked, the cart will be cleared to process the next transaction.
- On the shopping cart interface, click the three-dot button in the upper right corner to access the Other Operations menu.
- Click Park/Retrieve Sale to put the transaction on hold. The cart is cleared.
Retrieving Sales
When the customer is ready to settle the parked transaction, you can retrieve the transaction back to the cart to complete the sale.
- On the shopping cart interface, click the three-dot button in the upper right corner to access the Other Operations menu.
- Click Park/Retrieve Sale and select the transaction you wish to return. Then, click Order Taking.
When the parked transaction is retrieved, you can add items or adjust cart information and continue to complete the checkout.
Note: Ensure that the cart is empty before retrieving a parked transaction. Otherwise, the current cart transaction will be parked. |
Deleting A Parked Transaction
When a transaction is parked by error or when the customer wants to remove a parked transaction, you can delete the target sale by going to Other Actions > Park/Retrieve Sale, selecting the transaction to be deleted, and clicking Delete. Parked transactions that have been deleted cannot be retrieved.
