Daily Store Performance Report
Improving your store sales starts with gaining valuable insights from daily POS sales performance data. With the SHOPLINE POS app, you can easily monitor your store's daily sales performance reports. Additionally, you can conveniently generate reports for printing or emailing.
Viewing Daily Closing Reports
Access the daily closing reports in your SHOPLINE POS app by following these steps:
- Click on the hamburger icon located in the upper left corner to expand the left navigation bar.
- Click Analytics to access the analysis reports.
- Select Store performance report, and then select the desired date from the calendar on the left side of the screen to view the daily report.
Within the report, you'll find three types of data for your reference: Business data, Payment data, and Sales category.
Printing Daily Closing Reports
In addition to viewing data, you can also print daily closing reports for offline reconciliation or statistical purposes.
Printing Business and Payment Data
- In your SHOPLINE POS app, click on the hamburger icon in the upper left corner to expand the left navigation bar.
- Click Analytics to access the analysis reports.
- Select Store performance report, and then select the desired date from the calendar on the left side of the screen to view the daily report.
- Click the Print button located in the bottom right corner. The system will generate a receipt containing the business and payment data for the selected date.
Printing Sales Category Data
Printing sales category data is optional. You can choose whether to include sales category data in daily closing reports for printing based on your business needs. This feature provides insights into sales performance, inventory levels, and customer behavior, supporting informed decision-making for pricing, marketing, and overall sales strategies to enhance business revenue and profitability.
Note: Printing sales category data may result in paper waste or longer receipts. We suggest enabling this setting according to your business needs. |
To enable the printing of sales category data, follow these steps:
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to POS > Settings > Shift and closing settings.
- On the "Shift and closing settings" page, locate the "Day End" section, and check the box for Print complete product collection sales data. Then, click Save.
Once the Print complete product collection sales data option is enabled, the POS system will automatically print sales category data when generating daily closing reports.
Sending Daily Closing Reports via Email
For managers seeking a comprehensive understanding of each store's sales performance during business operations, SHOPLINE POS offers the convenience of sending daily closing reports directly to designated email addresses. This allows managers to effortlessly monitor the operational status of the stores without the need for physical visits.
To set up email delivery of the daily closing report, follow these steps:
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to POS > Settings > Shift and closing settings.
- On the "Shift and closing settings" page, locate the "Day End" section and check the box for Send daily closing reports via email. Enter the email address where you would like to receive the reports. Then, click Save.
Once the Send daily closing reports via email feature is enabled, you should receive a detailed daily sales report for the previous day at 09:00 AM (local time of your country or region) every morning.
