How to Trigger Store Pick-up Emails
This article will teach you about the triggering process of emails related to SHOPLINE pick-up orders.
Setting up An Email Template
The system already has an email template set up for you, but you can still modify it to suit your store.
To set up a template, follow the steps below:
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, click Settings > Notifications.
- Go to the Customer email notification section > Pickup and click Ready for pickup or Picked up to enter the template modification page.
- Modify the template and click Update.
Ready for Pickup Email
When the order's delivery method is pick-up at the store and the product is ready for pick-up, you can manually click Ready for pickup to send an email to inform consumers to pick up the order at the store. The content of the email in the Ready for pickup section contains product details and cost details. After receiving the email, customers can go to the store to pick up the products.
To trigger a ready-for-pickup email, follow the steps below:
- For in-store pick-up orders to be shipped, you can click Orders from the SHOPLINE admin panel to enter the order details page and click Send pickup notification to notify customers that they can pick up the product in the store.
- In the pop-up window, click Confirm to send a pickup notification.
Picked up Email
When the order's delivery method is to pick up the product at the store and the product has been picked up, you can manually send a picked-up email to notify customers that the product has been successfully picked up. The content of the email includes product and cost details.
To trigger a picked-up email, follow the steps below:
- For an order ready to be shipped/ready to pick up, click Orders from the SHOPLINE admin panel to enter the order details page and click Mark as Picked up.
- In the pop-up window, check Send a notification to the customer by default, and click OK to send a picked-up email.
