Access to the Feature
From the homepage of your admin, Go to Settings > Notifications > Customer subscription in the Customer email notification section.
Customer subscription supports three types of emails:
- Subscribed successfully: You need to manually select this option. Once selected, the system will automatically send a confirmation email to customers after their successful subscription.
- Unsubscribe: You need to manually select this option. Once selected, the system will automatically send an Unsubscribe email to customers when they cancel their email subscription.
- Customer marketing confirmation: This option doesn’t require manual selection. It is sent to the customer automatically to confirm the subscription when they subscribe for email marketing (if email double opt-in is enabled).

Click on the link to view the setting details. You can customize your emails on the settings page.
- Use scenario: Send an email for confirmation when customers subscribe to the store.
- Trigger range: Sent to the customer automatically to confirm the subscription when they subscribe for email marketing (if email double opt-in is enabled).
- Email description: Typically, customers can subscribe by entering their email address on the online store. However, in certain countries/regions (e.g., Germany), legal requirements mandate a cross-confirmation process. This means that after customers enter their email address on the online store to subscribe, they must also confirm their subscription by responding to the email received. This confirmation step is necessary to ensure the successful completion of the subscription.
