SHOPLINE Payments allows you to accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, JCB, and American Express. SHOPLINE Payments also supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, so that customers can check out with one tap in your store.
When you capture a payment for an order, you’re charged a SHOPLINE payment fee to cover the cost of processing the payment. This fee depends on the type of subscription plan you purchase.

KYC Requirements for SHOPLINE Payments
To apply for SHOPLINE Payments for your business based in Hong Kong, you’ll have to comply with the following requirements and submit the required information/documents.
Store requirements
- Your SHOPLINE store has these pages including:
- Contact Us
- Clear contact information, an email address or phone number for contact, which is simple and straightforward.
- Shipping, Return and Exchange Policy must include all of the following items:
- Delivery option, logistics provider
- Shipping days (no. of days from the order is placed to the order is shipped)
- Delivery days (no. of days from the order is shipped to the order is received)
- Shipping and delivery days for pre-orders (If there are pre-orders for sale)
- Refund Policy
- The merchant should state clearly whether they provide refunds.
- Merchants who offer refunds should at least include the conditions for refund, the refund method, and the refund process.
- FPS transactions should be aligned with below principles:
- You are responsible for all refunds/disputes
- You should highlight the process of how to support refund/dispute transactions
- You should provide contact information and proactively support consumer’s inquiries.
- Suggested wording: [Your Business Name] is solely responsible for maintaining and processing any disputes and refund transactions related to FPS payment.

- Your SHOPLINE store should also complete the following:

- Upload at least 7 to 10 products on shelves with valid images
- Remove test products/ photos
- Each products should at least have 1 item in stock
- Each products should have product description
- Enabled shopping cart function
- The store must not be locked behind password
Bank account requirements
- Hong Kong bank account in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD)
- The bank account name must be the same as the application entity of the SHOPLINE Payments account.
- Applicants must provide the opening certificate of the payout bank account statement issued by the payout bank within the last 6 months, which should include the account holder's name, statement date, account number, and bank name.

- For limited companies with multiple shareholding structures, Certificate of Incumbency or Ownership Structure Chart (O-chart) is required and must meet the following requirements:
- Include full legal name and shareholding percentage of the Ultimate Beneficiary Owner(s)
- Include registration country and shareholding percentage of each intermediary shareholding entity
- Signed and dated by one of the directors with their printed name and company chop
- The O-chart should be issued within the 6 months and could not be altered or edited
- For verification purposes, please ensure that the documents meet the following requirements:

- File Formats: JPG, PNG, JPEG, PDF
- Image Size: 100KB to 10MB; File Size: 1KB to 10MB
- Full-colour, clear, vertical, and complete image (including the edges of the identity documents)
- The identity document holder is aged 18 or above
- The identity document must contain your full name, date of birth, and a personal photo.
- Documents must be valid and not expired.
- Documents must be clear, with legible text and photographs.
- Photocopies will not be accepted.
- Upload complete documents, including both the front and back of your identity card and the full personal information page of your passport.
- The Business Registration Certification must include the company name, business address, and company registration number.
- The Business Registration Certification must be an official document issued by a government department.
Note: If SHOPLINE is unable to verify the identity of the individual who ultimately owns or controls the company, you may be required to provide additional company registration documents, which may include parent company information.
- Unsupported Documents and File Types:

- Black and white
- Broken or damaged
- Blurry or overexposed
- Dirty, illegible, or with a watermark

Prohibited Businesses
Some types of businesses and services are not eligible to use SHOPLINE Payments. To determine your eligibility, please review the list of prohibited business types for Hong Kong.

Getting Paid
SHOPLINE Payments is the simplest way to accept payments online. It eliminates the hassle of setting up a merchant account with a third-party payment provider and then entering your account credentials in SHOPLINE. Because SHOPLINE Payments is natively integrated with your store, you can view your payouts directly in the SHOPLINE admin.
In Hong Kong, the payout details are as follows:
- The payout period varies depending on different payment methods. For example, the payout period for credit cards is T+5 (E.g. T-day: 3 Jan 2022 + 5 business days = 10 Jan)
- Minimum payout amount: HK$ 100
