Integrating Member System with Omnisend
Members System supports the integration with Omnisend to enhance your marketing reach. After integration, Member System syncs basic customer information and membership information to Omnisend, allowing you to group customers based on this information and send mass emails in Omnisend.
Enabling Integration
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, click Apps from the left pane.
- Find and click the Member System App to open it if you have installed it. Click the Go to App Store button to go to SHOPLINE App Store if you haven’t installed it.
- In the Member System App, go to Integrate from the left pane.

From the Unintegrated Apps section, click the Integrate button in the Omnisend card.

In the pop-up window, enter your Omnisend API key and click Integrate. For details about creating an API key in Omnisend, refer to this article.

The system will verify if your key is correct. If verified, the system takes you to the Synchronize step. You can proceed with data synchronization now or come back later.

Data Synchronization
After successful integration, the Omnisend card appears in the Integrated Apps section. Click the Synchronize button in the Omnisend card and then click the Synchronize button in the pop-up window to initiate the data sync process. Alternatively, you can do so during the integration step as mentioned in the previous section, right after the pop-up window shows the integration is successful and takes you to the next step. Now, the pop-up window closes and your membership-related data is synchronized with Omnisend.
While the data synchronization is in progress, the card shows a Synchronizing status. You can refresh the page, and when the Omnisend card displays Operate now, it means the synchronization is complete. After the initial manual synchronization, any new member data added will be automatically synchronized without your manual operation.
Two types of information are synchronized with Omnisend:
- Basic customer information including email, email subscription status, first name, and last name
- Membership information such as points, membership status, membership level/paid membership, and level expiration date
Canceling Integration
You can click on the Omnisend card and click the Cancel Integration button in the pop-up window to stop the integration with Omnisend. Member System will no longer synchronize data.
