Relationships Between Pages and Thumbnail Images
For specific pages of your site, the following images will be used as the thumbnail image:
- Product Detail Page: Product cover image
- Product Collection Page: Collection cover image
- Blog Article Page: Article cover image
Setting Your Custom Social Media Thumbnail Image
For pages not covered in the previous section, you can upload a custom social media thumbnail image by following these steps:
- In the SHOPLINE Admin Panel, navigate to Online Store > Preferences, and locate the Social media image sharing setting section.
- Upload an image. The recommended size is 1200 × 628 px.
- Once you see the Update successfully confirmation message, the new social media thumbnail image is applied.
Fallback Image
If the social media thumbnail image is not set, the system will automatically select images in the following order of priority:
- Online Store > Design > Theme settings > Logo
- Admin Panel > Settings > Basic settings > Basic store information > Store logo
This ensures that a relevant image is always displayed when sharing links from your site, enhancing your brand’s presence on social media.
