Guide to Checkout Customizer
Checkout Customizer is a tool designed for merchants to set custom sorting, hiding, and renaming rules. By optimizing the display logic of payment methods and shipping methods, it aims to improve conversion rates.
You can freely adjust the display order of options, add rules to hide options that are not applicable, customize display names, and more on the checkout page according to your needs. This provides customers with a smoother and personalized checkout experience.
The Checkout Customizer allows Payment method rules setting and Shipping method rules settings.
Payment Method Rules
Click on Manager > Add rules to start setting payment method rules.
Payment method rules support two types of rule settings:
- Hide payment method
- Payment method order
Hide Payment Method
You can set various conditions to hide payment methods from customers. Below are three main types of hiding methods the app supports:
- Directly hide payment method: No conditions needed, simply hide any available payment methods you want
- Hide by country/region: Add Hidden conditions to the rule by selecting the Country / Region
- Hide by payment amount: Click Payment amount and add price and conditions to the rule
If there is more than one condition under a rule, you can choose to Hide when order meets ANY of the conditions or Hide when order meets ALL conditions.
Take the hiding "Cash" option as an example:
Target Payment | Conditions | Conditional Relationship | Result |
Cash | n/a | n/a | Cash option would not be on the storefront. |
Cash |
|
AND | When the customer is in the US and the order exceeds $50 USD, the Cash option will not show on the storefront. |
Cash |
|
OR | The Cash option will only show when the order amount is in between $5 USD and $50 USD. |
Cash |
|
AND | Conflicted conditions, the rule is not taking effect. |

Payment method order
Payment method order indicates the order of payment options showing on storefront. You can drag the orders of the payment methods to decide how the orders are displayed.
Note: The settings of Hide payment method may affect this rule, and only one order rule is allowed under Payment method rules. |
