Adding Products to Cart with Shortcuts

In the course of marketing or seasonal campaigns, customers commonly and frequently select popular or promotional product items. As a result, cashiers often find themselves needing to add these specific items to the shopping cart. To streamline and expedite the process of selecting and adding a designated target product to the cart, you can incorporate a specific product or product category as a shortcut block on the workbench, enhancing checkout efficiency.

 

 

Setting up Shortcut for Individual Product

To swiftly add a specific product to your workbench for a speedy checkout experience, follow these steps:

  1. In the "Home" section of your POS app, go to the Workbench tab and click Add an image block to access the feature selection page.

  2. Under the "About order/product management" section, select Add a single product.

  3. Search for or scan the barcode of the desired product, then select it to add as a shortcut to your workbench.

Now, you can efficiently add the selected popular product to the shopping cart when checking out for customers who have purchased the item.

Setting up Shortcut for Product Category

Adding a popular product category as a shortcut to your workbench facilitates easier product location, ultimately enhancing the efficiency of the checkout process. Follow the steps below:

 

Note: Categorizing your products aids in product management and the design of various marketing activities. For detailed information on creating product collections, please refer to the "Product Collections" article.

 

  1. In the "Home" section of your POS app, go to the Workbench tab and click Add an image block to access the feature selection page

  2. Under the "About order/product management" section, select Add product category.

  3. Search for the desired product category and select it to add as a shortcut to your workbench.

Now, you can efficiently locate a product belonging to a popular product category and rapidly add it to the shopping cart when checking out for customers who have purchased the item.

What's even better is that you can conveniently switch product categories by simply clicking on the filter icon in the upper right corner of the panel, streamlining the product search and selection process.

Removing Shortcut Configurations

When your top-selling items undergo changes, and the existing quick-access shortcuts are no longer needed, feel free to clear them from your workbench. Follow the steps below:

  1. In the "Home" section of your POS app, go to the Workbench tab.

  2. Long-press the shortcut block on the workbench, then click on the cross icon [x] in the top-left corner.

  3. On the confirmation pop-up window, click Confirm.

  4. After removing all the blocks you no longer need, click Save to save the changes.
