Voucher Payment
SHOPLINE POS offers a variety of payment methods, including seamless support for voucher payment. This powerful marketing tool offers numerous benefits, such as enhancing brand visibility, attracting new customers, and boosting conversion rates.
This comprehensive guide instructs you on setting up and using vouchers to drive sales growth and achieve business goals.
Creating Vouchers
To create vouchers as a payment method, follow these steps:
- In your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to POS > Settings > Payments.
- Choose the store you wish to configure and click Modify payment plan.
- Navigate to the Vouchers section and click Create a voucher.
- In the pop-up window, provide a voucher name, add a payment logo, and specify the voucher value. Then, click Activate voucher.
The created vouchers will be added to the voucher list.
Meanwhile, the voucher options will be displayed on your POS app's checkout page for easy selection.
Managing Vouchers
Adapt promptly to your marketing strategies by efficiently managing vouchers to meet operational requirements. Follow these steps to access the settings section:
- In your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to POS > Settings > Payments.
- Choose the store you wish to configure and click Modify payment plan.
- Navigate to the Vouchers section to configure the following settings.
Deactivating Vouchers
- Find the unwanted voucher on the list, click Deactivate on the right.
- In the pop-up window, click Confirm deactivation.
The disabled voucher will be removed from both the voucher list on the admin panel and the checkout page of the POS app.
Reactivating Vouchers
To reactivate a disabled voucher, click Create a voucher and select the voucher you want to reactivate.
The selected voucher will be reactivated and reinstated in both the voucher list on the admin panel and the checkout page of the POS app.
Editing Vouchers
- Find the desired voucher for modification and click Edit on the right.
- In the pop-up window, make necessary adjustments, then click Activate voucher.
The changes will take effect immediately after the modification.
Note: Voucher names cannot be changed once created, so name them carefully. |
Processing Payments with Vouchers
Once vouchers are added as a payment method, follow these steps to use them for checkout:
- After adding all the items to the shopping cart, click Pay.
- Tap Voucher as the payment method.
- Select the voucher for this order.
- Enter the voucher code and select the denomination.
Note: The voucher code is typically defined during creation and used for voucher management. It's optional to enter the code. If entered, it will be displayed on the receipt for easy reconciliation and verification. |
- To add another voucher, tap Confirm and add another coupon. The added voucher will continue to deduct from the total order amount. Alternatively, tap Confirm to proceed with checkout.
Note: Even if the voucher value exceeds the order amount, you can still complete the payment. The excess amount will be displayed on the payment completion page, and you can decide whether to issue change based on the voucher usage rules. |
