Authorizing Your Amazon Store

Authorizing your Amazon stores for Multichannel Connect enables you to seamlessly manage inventory across both Amazon and SHOPLINE. You can effortlessly transfer products, import Amazon orders for fulfillment on SHOPLINE, and automatically submit them back to Amazon - all in one place. This unified approach allows you to leverage a shared inventory pool, maximizing efficiency for your business.

Notes:
  • There is no limit to the number of Amazon stores that you can authorize to Multichannel Connect.
  • For now, authorization is supported for Amazon United States stores only. Please stay tuned for support for other sites.
  • Authorization is supported for local merchant accounts only.
  • Authorization is supported for SC (Seller Central) accounts only. VC (Vendor Central) accounts are not supported.
  • Authorization is supported for Amazon master accounts only.
  • Authorization is supported for Amazon Professional Seller accounts only.
  • Accounts for authorization should not be in Suspended or Inactive status, nor in Vacation mode.
  • It is recommended that you use the same network IP and device as you normally do to access the Amazon account to complete authorization.
  • One Amazon store can only be authorized to one third-party software or application, SHOPLINE’s Multichannel Connect app in this case. If you want to authorize it to another application, you need to delete the store from the Multichannel Connect app first before proceeding.
    • When you delete the store, the data in your SHOPLINE admin panel and Amazon SC will not be affected. The retrieved orders in, all products in the Products module, and associations in the Inventory module of the Multichannel Connect app will be deleted at once and cannot be recovered. Please proceed with caution.

Managing Authorized Stores

Once you've authorized your channel stores, you can manage them in Settings > Store Management. Here's what you can do:

2.1 manage store.png

  • Visit store: Click the link icon to open your channel store directly.
  • Edit name: Click the pencil icon to change the store name displayed within the app.
  • Re-authorize: Each channel API returns different validation time for store tokens which you can view in the Expire Date column in the store list. To avoid service disruptions, click the refresh icon to re-authorize before it expires or if you change your store login password.
  • Delete: Click the trash bin icon to remove the store from the app when you no longer need it connected.
Notes:
  • Deleting a store permanently removes all associated data within Multichannel Connect. Please proceed with caution!
  • If you have enabled the Channel orders are automatically imported into SHOPLINE feature, deleting a channel store will NOT remove previously imported orders in your SHOPLINE admin's Orders section. (SHOPLINE doesn't currently support deleting imported orders.) Re-authorizing the same channel store with the same Seller ID and importing orders with matching order numbers may create duplicate orders within SHOPLINE.
