Channels’ Account Connection Policy
For Amazon, eBay, and Shopee, the policies generally permit only one store per company on the same channel. Merchants can apply for multiple stores only if they meet specific criteria. For more details, please consult each channel's official customer service.
In practice, merchants might use different companies to apply for multiple stores on the same channel. However, when accessing these stores, the channel may detect potential connections between your accounts based on various factors. These factors can include, but are not limited to:
- Hardware environment: The channel may detect your device information and IP addresses to determine account connection.
- Internet environment: Information that is automatically saved in the browser, such as account passwords and payment information, may be used to determine account connection.
- Information connection: Information like your business registration materials and legal person information may be used to determine account connection.

Consequences of Policy Violation
When the channel detects that two or more accounts are connected, it may take action, including but not limited to:
- Delisting products from the newly connected account.
- Terminating your account.
- Suspending or terminating extra stores.
While connected accounts might not cause immediate restrictions or penalties, they could trigger a chain reaction. If one connected account is restricted, it could negatively impact the others. Therefore, it's crucial to always avoid account connection to minimize risks.
Using Third-Party Service Safely with Channels
When Authorizing a Channel Store
If you manage multiple channel accounts and need to authorize a store for third-party service, make sure you log in from the same computer and network you typically use for that channel. This helps prevent account connection issues. If you only have one account, simply log in normally.
The Multichannel Connect app will not be responsible for account connection caused by your incorrect use of the access environment.
API Calls
Once you've successfully authorized your store, the channels won't check for account connection when the third-party service performs tasks like syncing data, updating listings, managing shipments, and other actions through APIs.
Now that you understand what channel account connection is and the potential risks, you can decide how to proceed with authorizing your channel store:
- Authorizing Your Amazon Store
- Authorizing Your eBay Store
- Authorizing Your Shopee Store
- Authorizing Your Lazada Store
- Authorizing Your Zalora Store
