Requesting Access to Merchant's Stores

Upon joining SHOPLINE's partner program, you have the opportunity to become a partner for SHOPLINE merchants. By requesting store access and managing stores on their behalf, you can offer services such as developing and maintaining customized apps, creating attractive stores, and overseeing business operations for your merchants.   

Note: Once a development store you have created is transferred to your merchant, you will automatically be added as a partner to this store unless your merchant removes your permissions.

How to Request Store Access

Submitting Requests to Merchants       

To manage stores for your merchants, you'll first need to request permission to access the stores. Follow the steps below to submit a store access request:

  1. Log in to your SHOPLINE development center here.
  2. Go to Stores in the left menu, and click Add Store > Request access to store

  3. Enter the store URL to which you want to apply for access. Then, the "store permissions" section will expand automatically.

  4. Either check the necessary permissions individually or tick Grant all permissions to request full access to the store. Then, click Create to submit your request.

Obtaining Store Access from Merchants

After you submit the store access request, your merchant will receive an email notification prompting them to process your application. Instruct your merchant to grant store access by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to the admin panel of the applied SHOPLINE store.
  2. Go to Settings > Administrator and permissions.

  3. In the "Partner" section, your merchant should find your application. Click Handle now to access the "Partner details" page.

  4. In the "Partner details" page, your merchant can modify the permissions to be granted to you. Click Agree application to finalize the granting of store access.

Now, the request status of the store in your development center should change from "Access Pending" to "Collaborator Access Permissions," indicating that you are officially the partner of the specific store. 

 


 

Canceling a Pending Request 

In the event that you need to revoke or re-submit a pending store access request, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your SHOPLINE development center.  
  2. Go to Stores in the left menu, locate the store access request you want to cancel, and then click Cancel Application.

  3. In the pop-up warning window, click Confirm. The request status should change from "Access Pending" to "Access Canceled."

After canceling the request, you can further choose to Archive, Reapply, or Delete it as you wish.

Note: Cancellation of a store access application will not be allowed once your merchant has granted your request. Please ensure that you no longer need the request before proceeding with its cancellation.

 


 

Logging in to Partner Stores

After being granted access to a store, you can begin managing the store or conducting business operations for your merchant merchants. Follow the steps below to enter the store’s admin panel:

  1. Log in to your SHOPLINE development center. 
  2. Go to Stores in the left menu, locate the store you want to access, and click on Log in.

Now you are in the SHOPLINE admin panel of that specific partner store. Showcase your skills and assist your merchants in excelling in their business!

Note: 
  • Once you have become a partner of a merchant’s store, you can also find it listed in the store list of your own SHOPLINE admin panel. Therefore, you can alternatively access that partner store through your own SHOPLINE account.
  • If, for any reason, you no longer need to access a specific store, we suggest archiving it from your store list for better management.
