Applying Member System Nudges
Elevate your in-store customer experience and unlock hidden sales potential with Member System Nudges for POS! This powerful feature allows you to display targeted pop-up reminders within your POS system. It prompts cashiers to inform customers about available discounts, rewards, and points they can redeem, resulting in happier customers and increased sales for your store.

Enabling Nudges in Member System
Before setting up nudges for your POS stores, you need to enable them from your Member System app. Follow these steps:
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps > Member System. Install the app if you haven’t already.
- Click Nudges under the Notifications category, then select the POS channel tab.
- Choose desired nudge types and click Enable.
- Click Nudges settings to tailor the style, content, and frequency for each nudge trigger.

Types of Nudges Available for POS
Currently, three types of nudges are available for the POS channel. Enable and set up those that meet the operational needs of your POS business.

Birthday Benefit
Enable the Guide customers to use birthday benefits nudge to celebrate with customers and encourage discount use with timely nudges when checking out birthday customers with unused birthday discounts.
Points Redemption
Enable the Guide customers to redeem points nudge to help customers maximize their points by suggesting ways to redeem them for discounts or products upon reaching sufficient point thresholds.
Rewards Usage
Enable the Guide customers to redeem points nudge to motivate customers to leverage available rewards by prompting cashiers to suggest their use during checkout.
Applying Nudges During Checkout
Once enabled and triggered, nudge pop-up windows appear in your POS app. Follow the steps below to apply the preset nudges:
- Click the Apply button on the relevant nudge pop-up to grant the customer the selected benefit.
- If a customer qualifies for multiple benefits, choose the desired one from the options presented on the pop-up window and click Apply.
