Fulfillment Service

 

SHOPLINE Fulfillment Services play a crucial role in providing fulfillment and delivery of goods. These service providers offer merchants professional integrated warehousing and distribution logistics solutions, supporting them in managing and selling goods through multiple channels. Additionally, they assist in completing subsequent fulfillment, delivery, and handling returns and exchanges.

Each fulfillment service provides its services through a fulfillment service application. Once the merchant installs the application, they can register as a fulfillment service and create/manage a dedicated location with the role of fulfillment service.

The merchant establishes the corresponding relationship between SHOPLINE platform products and the fulfillment service's backend products through the fulfillment service application. They select the fulfillment service to manage the inventory of the product on SHOPLINE. The merchant can directly manage products exclusively for SHOPLINE at the fulfillment service location, and the inventory is synchronized by the fulfillment service through the product inventory interface.

After a product is sold on SHOPLINE, the order fulfillment and delivery details are collected under this location. The fulfillment service is then notified of the product's delivery by requesting shipment.

Fulfillment Services Overview

The fulfillment service is required to offer fulfillment and delivery services to the merchant through the fulfillment application. Once the merchant installs the fulfillment application, they need to register as a fulfillment service on SHOPLINE and create a dedicated location for their use.

After a customer makes a purchase, the merchant requests fulfillment services for delivering the goods through fulfillment delivery. The fulfillment service responds and executes the entire process of goods fulfillment and delivery.

Fulfillment Service Provider Integration Process 

  1. Contract fulfillment application development and registration.
  2. The merchant installs the fulfillment application (the fulfillment application completes the fulfillment service registration and location creation).
  3. The merchant logs into the fulfillment service through the fulfillment application and completes the certification.
  4. Merchants complete product inventory management in SHOPLINE.
  5. The merchant completes product matching in the fulfillment application.
  6. Merchants manage product inventory on the fulfillment application and synchronize it with SHOPLINE product inventory.
  7. The merchant completes the fulfillment location freight plan setting and starts product sales on SHOPLINE.
  8. After the goods are ordered, the merchant makes a fulfillment request.
  9. Fulfillment service accepts or rejects the request.
  10. The fulfillment service delivers the goods and transmits the shipping information back to SHOPLINE through the fulfillment application.

Note:
  • A fulfillment application can create only one fulfillment service identity and one dedicated location.
  • When a product is set to manage inventory at the fulfillment service location, only physical inventory management can be done through API from the fulfillment application at the current dedicated location. Be cautious when switching to avoid incorrect inventory data.
  • Once a fulfillment request is made for delivery, if the fulfillment service provider receives, cancels, or rejects the request, the order cannot be canceled, goods refunded, or order items edited.
  • Currently, the fulfillment service's fulfillment order only supports requests and deliveries for the entire order.
