Creating and Authorizing an Apple Developer Account

To publish an application on the App Store, you need to create an Apple Developer account first.

How to register for an Apple Developer account

The annual fee is $99, and to prevent any disruptions to your account, we recommend setting it to automatically renew upon creation.

• If you do not have an Apple ID, you can create one here.
• Before starting the registration process for an Apple Developer account, you will need to register for a DUNS number. Once your DUNS number is activated, you can begin the registration process.

After completing these steps, you can follow the steps below to complete the registration.

1. Navigate to https://developer.apple.com/programs/enroll/ and click Start Your Enrollment.
2. Log in using your registered Apple ID and complete filling out your personal profile.
3. Select the entity type. You must choose Company/Organization from the dropdown list and then click Continue.
   

   Note: If you need to register as a Individual/Sole Proprietor, please make sure to communicate with our sales team before proceeding with the registration.

4. You can enter your organization information under Tell Us About Your Organization, where you will input the legal entity name and DUNS number.
5. Next, you will enter your personal contact information for your Apple Developer account. The information entered in Step 2 will be automatically populated on this page.
6. Check the box indicating that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions, then click Continue.
7. Ensure that all entered information is correct and select Submit.
8. You can expect to receive a response from Apple within 24-48 hours via phone or email to verify your registration.
9. After Apple contacts you to verify your registration information, you may receive a follow-up email prompting you to submit the $99 annual registration fee.
10. Revisit your Apple Developer account dashboard to complete your billing information, then click Continue to complete the payment and setup of your Apple Developer account.

Invite Shopper App to your Apple Developer Account

After creating your Apple Developer account, it may take up to 24 hours to process your account's payment. Once completed, you can invite Shopper App to join your account and fill out your account details in the SHOPLINE admin panel.

Invite Shopper App to join your account by following these steps:

1. Login into your App Store Connect account.
2. Select Users and Access from the top menu bar
3. Click on "+", then fill in the following fields:
   • First Name: Shopper App
   • Last Name: Team
   • Email: appstore.shopperapp@shopline.com
   • Role: Admin, with access to all Additional Resources

4. Click Invite to complete the invitation process.

Next, fill in your account information on the Shopper App account authorization page:

1. Navigate to Shopper App > App Publish page, click Edit for Developer account authorization.
   
2. Scroll down to the App Store developer account authorization section and click Ready, fill out now.
   
3. Enter the Apple Developer Entity Name and Team ID into the input fields.
   
4. If you already have an app published on the App Store and wish to migrate the app to Shopper App, please check YES; if you have not yet published an app on the App Store, please check NO.
   
   
   • If you checked YES, fill out the following information:
     
     
     • The latest version number of the app on the App Store: Go to your app in App Store Connect. You can find the version number of the latest version in your app under the TestFlight tab.
       
       
       
     • Bundle ID and Apple ID: You can find this information under the General Information section of the Distribution tab.
       
5. After filling out the form, click Save in the top right corner.
