Product Customizer & Bundle Builder: Tips for Option Management

In the Preview Designer within the Product Customizer & Bundle Builder app, you can add unlimited options. Here are some tips to help you manage them efficiently.

Tips for Option Management

Maximize Viewing Space

When you have a large number of options, you can click the arrow icon at the top to collapse the option panel to save space for viewing. 

When you need to add options, hover over the collapsed panel to expand it or click the arrow icon again to keep it expanded. 
 

Adjust Layer Order

The order of options represents their layer order in the print file and preview. Drag and drop options to rearrange their order. 

Copy or Delete Options

Click the meatball menu button on the right side of an option to Copy or Delete it. 

To delete multiple options at once, hold Shift and click each option to select it. Then, click the More options (...) icon in the Option toolbar and select Delete from the menu. A confirmation dialog appears before the selected options are deleted, just as it does when deleting a single option.

Show or Hide Options

Use the eye icon on the left side of an option to control its visibility in the print file and preview. For detailed instructions, see Guide to Print File and Preview.

You can also hide multiple options at once. Hold Shift and click each option to select it. Then, click the More options (...) icon in the Option toolbar, select Hide option, and choose where to hide the selected options:

• Hide on print file
• Hide on preview effect
• Hide in the product page options list

Options that are already hidden in a specific location are skipped for that location.

Using Layouts

Layouts organize multiple options into one entity, allowing batch operations on all grouped options for the print file and preview. This significantly enhances efficiency and is particularly useful for managing products that enable customers to select from multiple sets of identical elements.

Here are some tips for layout management:

• Click the layout icon button to add a new layout. You can create new options within this layout or drag existing options into or out of it. 
  
• Selecting a layout will select all options within it, allowing you to batch-scale or move them.
• Click the meatball menu button on the right side of a layout for more actions such as Show, Hide, Copy, Rename, or Delete.
