Improving Search Experience with Smart Search Recommendation
The Shopper App supports integration with the Smart Search Recommendation application. The search and filtering capabilities you set up in Smart Search Recommendation will be applied to the app's search results page and collection page. Integrating Smart Search Recommendation can create a better search experience for customers, allowing them to find the products they need more quickly and accurately, thereby improving the app's conversion rate.
Connecting Shopper App with Smart Search Recommendation
Please first install Smart Search Recommendation app in your SHOPLINE admin panel. Then open it and make the configurations based on your needs.
Configuring in Smart Search Recommendation
Shopper App supports Pre-search recommendations, Search range and Filter condition features of Smart Search Recommendation app. Please refer below setup steps to proceed or go to this article to learn more details.
Setting up Pre-search Recommendations
Go to the Pre-search recommendations tab of Smart Search Recommendation, click + Recommended search terms in the Default recommended search terms section to set up default search terms and the collection it links to. Reorder search terms by dragging and dropping if you have multiple search terms.
The Default recommended products feature is not supported at the moment.
Setting up Search Range
After installation, please go to the Search Range tab of Smart Search Recommendation and make your configurations in the following sections.

Search Settings: Click the Settings button in the Search settings section, then check on the options to your needs.
Note: settings under Search and sort preference would not reflect to Shopper App yet. - Product Promotion: Next, go to Product promotion and add search terms for the products. Hit Add after setup.
- Synonyms: Create a synonym group and input the synonyms, hit Add after setup.
- Keyword Redirection: Go to Keyword Redirection section and click on Add keyword, and input keyword and redirection link. Hit Add to update.
Setting up Filter Conditions
go to the Filter condition tab of Smart Search Recommendation, click the Add filter button in the upper right corner, and then choose a filter and give it a name that is visible to customers. You can reorder the filters by drag-and-dropping.
How It Looks on the App Interface
Your configurations will take effect immediately on your app.
