Creating Deferred Payment Orders
Here's how to create draft orders with deferred payment for general customers:
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Orders > Draft orders and click Create.
- Select the specific customer and add the desired products to their order.
- Review the payment information and enable the Pay later option.
- Choose a payment deadline from the following options:

- Pay in full when invoiced: Set the due date as the day you send the invoice.
- Pay in full upon shipping: Set the due date as the day you ship all items in the order.
- Pay in full on selected date: Allow you to specify a specific due date.
- Pay in full within a fixed period: Set the due date within a chosen number of days (7, 15, 30, 45, 60, or 90 days).
- Click the Create button to finalize the order.

Creating Deferred Payment Orders for B2B Customers
SHOPLINE allows you to set up credit lines for your B2B customers, enabling them to make purchases using store currency as credit. This feature is particularly useful for businesses that need more flexibility in their payment terms. You can utilize the credit line feature when creating draft orders, editing orders, or during B2B customer checkout.

Creating B2B Deferred Payment Orders
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Orders > Draft orders and click Create.
- Select the specific B2B customer and add the desired products to their order.
- Review the payment information and enable the Use company credit line option.
- Click the Create button to finalize the order.
Editing Deferred Payment Orders
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Orders. Locate and select the order you want to edit.
- Click Actions in the upper right corner and select Edit products.
- Make any necessary adjustments to the order items.
- Ensure the Send invoice to customers option is enabled, then click Save and send invoice.
Note: If the order was originally placed using a credit line, any additional products added during editing can only be saved using the remaining credit line amount. If the credit line is insufficient, you will need to manually adjust the company's credit line to ensure successful order editing. |
