By default, SHOPLINE provides SEO-friendly URLs, but you can customize the URL structure to meet your specific business needs. This feature is particularly useful when migrating an existing site to SHOPLINE, as it allows you to retain the original URL structure.

Before You Start
- This feature is currently in beta. To use it, please contact your Merchant Success Manager or online support.
- This feature applies only to new stores without existing data for Products, Product collections, Blogs, and Custom pages. Stores with existing data are not eligible.
- Only OS 2.1 Themes are supported.
- Incorrect URL structure configurations can negatively impact your site's SEO performance. If you're not familiar with SEO principles, it's recommended to stick with SHOPLINE's default URL structure.
Types of URL Structures
There are three types of URL structures. Using Products as an example:

Setting Up URL Structures
- In the SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Online Store > Preferences > URL structure settings. Toggle Turn on URL structure settings, then click Edit.
- Select Custom to edit the URL path.

Customizing URL Structures in SEO sections
New data will follow the format set in the URL structure settings, but you can also customize URLs for specific pages in the SEO sections. For example, to customize a product URL:
- In the SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Products, then select an existing product or add a new one.
- Go to the Search engine optimization section and click Edit.
- In the URL field, you can choose between:
- Default: The URL will follow the URL structure settings.
- Custom: You can manually customize this URL.
