Purchase Inbound on Mobile App
The SHOPLINE POS mobile app supports the use of PDA or other handheld devices to efficiently manage purchase inbounds. This feature caters to merchants who require precise inventory management, enabling their employees to scan goods one by one to ensure accurate inventory counts. This update significantly improves operational efficiency, especially for merchants handling large quantities of goods or those needing to manage products with serial numbers.

Creating a Purchase Order
- Open the SHOPLINE POS mobile app.
- In the menu, navigate to Apps, then tap on Purchase management.
- Tap on Create in the upper right corner, and select Purchase order.
- Complete all required fields in the Basic information section, then tap on Add products.
- Tap the scanning icon on the right side of the search bar to add products by scanning their barcodes.
- Configure the quantity and price for each product, then tap on Save and submit. The completed purchase order will appear in the To be stocked tab.
- If your purchase order needs further confirmation, tap Save as Draft, and you can find it in the Not submitted tab.
Inbounding a Purchase
When the purchased goods arrive, add them into the SKU inventory based on the received quantity.
- Open the SHOPLINE POS mobile app.
- In the menu, navigate to Apps, then tap on Purchase management.
- Navigate to the To be stocked tab, tap on Inbound of the corresponding purchase order.
- Tap the scanning icon on the right side of the search bar to add products by scanning their barcodes.
- For regular products: The app will automatically update the quantity with the scanned goods.
- For products with serial numbers: Tap on the +SN button to scan serial numbers. The quantity will be updated according to the added serial numbers.
- After completing the scanning, tap Inbound to update the inventory.
Creating an Inbound Receipt
- Open the SHOPLINE POS mobile app.
- In the menu, navigate to Apps, then tap on Purchase management.
- Tap on Create in the upper right corner, and select Inbound receipt.
- Complete all required fields in the Basic information section, then tap on Scan to select to add products by scanning their barcodes.
- For regular products: The app will automatically update the quantity with the scanned goods.
- For products with serial numbers: Tap on the +SN button to scan serial numbers. The quantity will be updated according to the added serial numbers.
- After completing the scanning, tap Inbound to update the inventory.
