Customizing Page Messages in Your Store App
When building your store app with Shopper App, you can customize the default messages displayed on key pages, such as product listings, product details, wishlist, and shopping bag pages.
This allows you to align system messages with your brand tone and deliver a more consistent shopping experience to your customers.
Customizing Page Messages
Follow the steps below to customize the default messages displayed across different pages of your store app:
From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Channels > Shopper App > App Settings, then click Custom message.
- On the Custom message page, you can customize the default messages for the following pages:
Product list / Search Results list: You can customize:
- Prompt text when there are no products in the collection
- Button text when there are no products in the collection
These messages are displayed when no products are available on the product list or search results pages.
Product details page: You can customize:
- Prompt text for out-of-stock or unavailable items
- Button text below the out-of-stock notification
- Add to Bag button text
- Prompt text when there is a product shelf or Add to Bag issue
- Toast message for a successful addition to the cart
- Toast message for an unsuccessful addition to the cart
- Buy Now button text
These messages apply when a product is:
- Out of stock
- Unavailable
- Unable to be added to the shopping cart
- Successfully or unsuccessfully added to the cart
Wishlist: You can customize:
- Prompt text when the wishlist is empty
- Button text below the empty wishlist prompt
These messages are displayed when the wishlist is empty.
Shopping bag: You can customize:
- Shopping bag title text
- Prompt text when no items are in the shopping bag
- Button text when no items are in the shopping bag
These messages are displayed when the shopping bag is empty.
Registration / login page: You can customize:
- Login / Sign-up page header text
- Sign-up page header text
- Sign-up page identity check prompt
- Login page header text
These messages are displayed when customers access the account registration or login pages in your store app.
By customizing these messages, you can ensure that your store app reflects your brand voice and delivers a consistent experience to your customers.
Additional Settings and Limitations
Each message has a character limit. Make sure your content does not exceed the maximum allowed length.
Click the multi-language icon next to each message field to add translations.
