Steps to Change Your Billing Address

To change your SHOPLINE store's billing address, follow these steps:

  1. In your admin panel, go to Settings > Basic settings, find the Business details section.

  2. Click Edit in the Billing address module.

  3. In the pop-up window, enter your new billing address and click Save.

Potential Impacts of Changing the Address 

Changing your billing address may affect the following:

  • Taxes: If your new address is in a taxable region, you may be charged additional taxes based on local regulations.
  • Payment methods: SHOPLINE offers different payment methods depending on your location. Therefore, changing your billing address may affect the available payment options for future invoices. For example, if your billing address is in Singapore (SG), you can use PayNow. However, if you change it to another country, PayNow may no longer be supported.
Note: If your store is part of an organization with an Enterprise plan, tax and payment method changes will be based on the organization's billing address.

Your billing address should be your company's registered address (for business customers) or your personal residential address (for individuals). It is not recommended to change your billing address without careful consideration, as it may affect your ability to use SHOPLINE Payments and successfully process payments with your linked credit card.

If you encounter issues with your existing credit card after updating your billing address, try these solutions:

    • Bind a new credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or choose a different payment method.
    • Remove your current card and add it again.
