Collecting and Showcasing Customer Reviews with Product Review

The Product Review app, developed by SHOPLINE, is designed to collect and display customer reviews for your products. When you integrate your mobile app with Product Review, product reviews and ratings will be displayed across various pages within your app. This includes the product list components on the homepage, collection pages, search results, browsing history, product details pages, and product recommendations. Additionally, customers can leave reviews for products they have purchased directly within your app.

 

 

Supported Features of Product Review Integration in Shopper App

If you have configured the following settings in the Product Review app, Shopper App will sync these configurations for display in your app:

How to Enable Product Review in Shopper App

To enable product reviews in Shopper App, you first need to install and set up the Product Review app. For more information, refer to the installation and configuration guide.

 

Enabling Product Reviews and the Message Board on Product Details Pages

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps > Shopper App > App Design and click the Design button to access the design editor.
  2. From the dropdown menu at the top, select Product Detail Page.

  3. From the left sidebar, click + Add Component and select Product review.

  4. Product review is pinned to the left sidebar. Click the triangle to expand its menu and click + Add to add features. Currently, Product review and Q&A (the message board) are available. See how it looks in the preview pane.

    • Product review: You can edit the title and the text for "View All" and "Add a Review" buttons. In the preview pane, see how it looks in the app.

        • Q&A: You can edit the title and the text for "View All" and "Post a Question" buttons. The preview section will show the display effect.

  5. Click the Apply button in the upper right corner to save changes and apply them to your app.

 

Enabling Product Reviews and the Message Board on Other Pages

The applicable pages include product list components on the homepage, collection pages, search results, browsing history, and product recommendations.

  1. In the design editor, click the hexagon icon (Theme settings) from the left side bar.

  2. Click the triangle next to Product to expand its menu, and turn on the Ratings toggle. The toggle is off by default. If you have a product list component on the homepage, you can see the display in the preview pane.

  3. click the Apply button in the upper right corner to save the changes.
