Enabling Digital Member Cards
At SHOPLINE, we aim to support your online-merge-offline (OMO) business, and digital member cards are a key component of this solution. With a simple barcode on their digital member card, customers can easily access, accumulate, and redeem membership benefits, rewards, or discounts when shopping in-store. For merchants, these digital cards help identify customers and unify their online and offline experiences, providing valuable insights into customer behavior across both channels. These insights can be used for targeted marketing and personalized offers. In this article, you’ll learn how to enable member cards for your customers.
Enabling Membership Barcode
Follow the steps below to enable barcodes for your customers:
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps > Member System.
- In Member System, click Customers from the left sidebar, and then click the Set membership code button.
- In the pop-up dialog, turn on the Membership code toggle.
- (Optional) To enhance your branding, you can select the Custom member ID prefix checkbox and add a prefix that will be prepended to the numbers.
- Click Confirm.
Where Customers Access their Member Card
Customers can find their member card barcode in their account (personal center) after logging in to your store. If you're using the SHOPLINE POS system, you can scan the barcode to streamline the checkout process.

After logging in to your store, customers can go to their personal center and switch to the Member tab to find their barcode.
Alternatively, if you have enabled the member panel, customers can find their barcode by clicking on their member panel.
App
