Automatically Converting Customers into Affiliates

The Affiliate Marketing app offers an automatic invitation mechanism. When customers meet a specified spending threshold using a designated purchase method, the system automatically sends an invitation email, prompting them to register as affiliates. This feature enhances customer loyalty and drives sales growth.

Setting Up Automatic Invitations

To set up the rules for automatic affiliate invitations, follow these steps:

1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps > Affiliate Marketing. If the app is not installed, install it first. 
2. Go to the Growth > Convert customers section in the app. 
3. In the Send affiliate invitation to customers automatically section, toggle the feature on or off as needed. When enabled, the system will automatically send an invitation email when a customer reaches your set threshold.
   

   Note: Disabling personal bonus does not affect the automatic invitation feature. You need to manually enable or disable automatic affiliate invitations.

4. In the Minimum purchase amount section, set the spending threshold. When customers complete their first eligible order using an affiliate link or discount code and meet the set amount, the system will automatically send the invitation.
   
5. In the Purchase type section, select the appropriate invitation condition based on your business needs:
   • Affiliate link only: The automatic invitation is triggered when customers make their first order through an affiliate's exclusive link and meet the spending threshold.
   • Affiliate discount code only: The automatic invitation is triggered when customers make their first order using an affiliate discount code and meet the spending threshold.
   • Either affiliate link or affiliate discount code: The automatic invitation is triggered when customers make their first eligible order using either an affiliate link or discount code and meet the spending threshold.

6. Click Update to apply your settings. 

Optimizing Your Affiliate Recruitment Materials

To attract more customers to your affiliate program, increase reach, and boost sales, you can optimize your affiliate recruitment page and invitation email templates to enhance customer participation.

To enhance these materials, navigate to the Affiliate growth page and locate the card at the bottom. Then:

• Click edit email content to customize your invitation email.
• Click edit recruitment page to optimize your recruitment landing page. For detailed instructions, refer to the "Customizing Your Recruitment Landing Page" guide.
