Redeeming Customer Points for Products Using Member PointShop
If you're running a POS store and using SHOPLINE Member System to manage your customers and rewards, the Member PointShop feature in the POS app can be a valuable tool. It allows your members to redeem points for free products or discounts on specific items, enhancing their shopping experience and encouraging repeat business. Additionally, it incentivizes extra spending through point redemption, boosting your overall sales.
This guide will walk you through how to set up redeemable products in your Member System for POS stores and how to redeem customer points for designated products at checkout.
Setting Up Point Redemption Rules
To use the Member PointShop feature in your POS stores, you first need to set up point rules in your Member System app. Follow these steps:

- From your admin panel, go to Apps > Member System.
- Under the Member Program section, click Points > Points rules.
- Locate the Redeem points section, switch to the POS Channel tab, and click + Add a way > Free product.
- In the pop-up window, select the product you want to add to the Member PointShop for redemption.
- Configure the rules on the settings page:

- Use points to redeem products: Click the pencil icon to change the selected product if needed.
- Points: Choose between Points only or Points + Cash. Enter the corresponding points and cash amount.
- Using discount codes: Specify whether the redemption points can be used only by the owner or by anyone.
- Usage limits: Set whether the point redemption can be stacked with other discounts and define its expiration date.
- Icon: Select the Default icon or upload your own.
- Overview: Review the settings for this redeemable product before creating it.
- Click Create.
Redeeming Points for Products at Checkout
Follow these steps to set up your Member PointShop, allowing customers to redeem points for designated products:
Adding Member PointShop Block to Workbench
- From your SHOPLINE POS app, go to the Workbench tab and click Add an image block.
- Under the Apps section, click Member PointShop to add it to your workbench.
Redeeming Points for Designated Products

Add the customer to the shopping cart, then click Member PointShop.

The customer's available points will be displayed in the right panel. Click on the designated product the customer wants to redeem.

Select the desired variant if applicable, then click Apply and go to cart. Please note that once you click this button, the points will be redeemed immediately and cannot be refunded.

Add any other items the customer is purchasing to the cart if necessary, then click Pay.

Follow the standard procedure to check out the order. For redeemed products, only the cash balance will be charged.
Note: If a customer regrets a redemption, points cannot be refunded. The redemption will be recorded in their history for future use. However, please note the following:
