Configuring Market-Based Shipping Destinations

This guide explains how to configure your checkout to display shipping destinations based on the countries or regions associated with a specific market. When enabled, only these designated areas will be available to customers during checkout.

 

 

Enabling Country/Region Dependency

You can configure your checkout to display shipping destinations based on the countries or regions associated with a specific market. Once enabled, only these designated areas will be available to customers during checkout.

Notes:
  • Ensure that the shipping options are configured for each country or region within the market. Otherwise, customers cannot select those countries or regions.
  • If your store has only one primary market, only its countries or regions will be available for selection.
  • This feature does not support Apple Pay or Google Pay express checkout options.

 

To enable this feature:

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Settings > Markets.

  2. Click the Preference settings button in the upper right corner.

  3. In the Checkout section, check the box for Shipping is only available to countries enabled for the selected market at checkout.

  4. Click Update to save your changes.

 

 

Disabling Country/Region Dependency

You can disable this feature if desired. When disabled, the range of available countries or regions during checkout will no longer be limited to those associated with the selected markets.

To disable this feature:

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Settings > Markets.

  3. In the Checkout section, uncheck the box for Shipping is only available to countries enabled for the selected market at checkout.
