Marketing Calendar: How to Create a Festival Atmosphere

You can select festivals in the Marketing Calendar app to build a shopping and festival atmosphere in your store on special days and increase store sales.

Steps for Setting Up Festivals

You can select different festivals to set the atmosphere for your store, but only one festival atmosphere can be effective at a time. Therefore, when setting the festival atmosphere, there should be no overlapping of the effective time for each activity.

Installing Marketing Calendar App

Search for the Marketing Calendar app in the SHOPLINE App Store, install it, and grant authorization.

Access

If you have never set the festival atmosphere before, you will see the nearest festival from today. Click Set now to enter the festival atmosphere setting page.

If you have previously set the festival atmosphere, you will see an activity information management page.

In the Recommended Festivals section at the top, you can see the upcoming festivals. You can choose the festival you want to set and click Go to Settings in the pop-up window to enter the settings page.

Displaying Festival Atmosphere

When setting the festival atmosphere, you will see a switch for displaying the festival atmosphere, which is on by default. After setting up the festival, your store page will display the festival atmosphere during the effective period.

If you manually turn off the display button, the festival atmosphere won't be shown in the store during the effective period. At the same time, the status on the campaign list page will be displayed as disabled.

Basic Settings

In the basic settings, you can set the effective time range for the festival atmosphere.

When setting the basic settings, the start time and end time will show the default start and end times for the festival atmosphere. You can click on the time to make changes.

Only one festival atmosphere can be effective in the store at a time. Therefore, if the effective time of the festival you are setting conflicts with the effective time of another festival atmosphere, you can't create the festival atmosphere and will see this reminder.

You can modify the effective time of the festival or other festivals. When the effective time doesn't conflict, you can smoothly create this festival atmosphere.

Atmosphere Settings

In the atmosphere settings, you can set the atmosphere animation, decorative ornaments, display pages, and ways of hiding effects.

You can choose from the provided atmosphere animations and also choose not to display atmosphere animations. The selected animation will be displayed in real-time on the right-hand preview, helping you better understand the effect of the atmosphere animation.

If you only want to set the atmosphere animation, after choosing your preferred atmosphere animation, clicking Create at the top or bottom of the page will lead to successful creation.

You can choose from the available ornament styles and also choose not to display decorative ornaments. Additionally, you can choose whether the top and bottom decorative ornaments of the page will be displayed. All your choices and modifications will be displayed in real-time on the right-hand preview, helping you better understand the effect of the decorative ornaments.

You can select the pages where the festival atmosphere will be displayed. By default, the festival atmosphere will be displayed on all pages of your store, and you can modify the display pages.

When you choose to display only on certain pages, the selected display pages will be shown in tag format below this option.

You can set the ways of hide effects for the festival atmosphere, which is set to automatically hide after a certain time, with a default delay of 30 seconds.

If you choose to automatically hide after a certain time, you can continue to select a delay of 30 seconds, 60 seconds, or 90 seconds. After setting this, the festival atmosphere will automatically hide according to your settings at a certain time after users enter the store page.

If you choose to hide after scrolling the page, you can continue to select scrolling percentages of 50%, 65%, or 80%. After setting this, the festival atmosphere will hide according to your settings when users scroll the page to a certain extent.

After you finish setting up, you can click Create to complete the creation of the festival atmosphere.

Editing Already Created Festivals

You can edit festivals that have been set up at any time. After saving the changes, the festival will be displayed according to your modifications.

Entry: Select the festival you want to modify, click Go to Settings, make changes, and click Update.
